Payroll Transformation Manager (f/m/x)

in Mars Global Services, Payroll Department

Location: Warsaw

Payroll Process Transformation Lead is to drive the end-to-end transformation of our payroll operations. The candidate must have extensive experience in shared services environments, payroll background and project management experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams to enhance payroll efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of payroll process transformation initiatives across EU market.

  • Analyze current payroll processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement best market practices and automation opportunities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, timeliness, and associate satisfaction.

  • Partner with local finance teams to align payroll workflows and reporting standards

  • Gather, validate, and translate local payroll and time & attendance requirements into process changes (gaps identification)

  • Ensure consistency in projects delivery across countries by working closely with payroll teams and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operations, with at least 3 years in a shared services/BPO environment

  • Proven track record of leading payroll process transformation projects and vendor change management

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, compliance requirements, and global payroll practices.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with payroll technology implementations and automation initiatives is a plus.
