As Learning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for team management to ensure the highest quality of logistical and operational support for the deployment of all relevant Mars U learning programs across the globe. This position is also responsible for playing a strong role in key process improvements for learning operations.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Team Management:
- Directly managing a team of Learning Operations Specialists across multiple levels of seniority, based in Poland and other regions.
- Managing work distribution and scheduling in order to meet the services demand in a particular year and maintain operational excellence with the services provided.
- Auditing the standard operational tasks execution within daily learning operations tasks to ensure high standards of data and services’ quality.
Activity management of deployment
- Acting as a SME for stakeholders and collaborating on best deployment routes, processes and activation related to day-to-day task and ensure that aligned steps are executed by Learning Operations Team.
- Organizing and delivering high-impact face-to-face learning events, providing a white-glove service experience to ensure seamless execution and exceptional participant satisfaction.
Annual demand planning:
- Activating demand planning processes, including contributing to historical trends and future recommendations review, target audience definition and scheduling of offerings across languages and time zones.
- Executing the operation processes to deliver global initiatives in cooperation with colleges representatives, plan the number of sessions, uploading the data and necessary information on new programs in WorkDay.
- Program pricing, based on the available information on the cost of materials, technology, venues, etc. Ensuring relevant price for the learning program offering is reflected in WorkDay Learning and cross-charged accordingly to internal processes.
Cost management:
- Ensuring cost-center state is actual and reflecting Mars U recommendation approach on the programs’ cost management.
- Organizing process of invoices management, and cross-charging to ensure pass-through cost-center is maintained within S&F governance and practices.
Continuous improvement and automation:
- Identifying, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement for the learning operations processes.
- Driving for simplification and automation of core processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency within learning operations services.
What are we looking for?
- Strong interest and/or experience in Learning & Development, learning operations, or training deployment.
- Strong project and operational management skills, with high attention to details and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including leading teams of 6+ employees – this requirement is crucial.
- Experience managing regional/global and hybrid teams (in-house + contractors) would be a strong advantage.
- Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with senior regional or global stakeholders.
- Experience working in matrix organizations and complex environments with limited guidance and a fast-changing setup.
- Process improvement and automation mindset, with focus on operational excellence and efficiency.
- Experience with LMS and LXP platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Sana Labs, Uplimit) would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Agile mindset, flexibility, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
