Infrastructure Senior Architect (SAP) – Mars Global Services – can be based in Brazil or UK

The Infrastructure Senior Architect (SAP) role will manage the technical design, including its dependencies and integration of solutions, covering aspects of high level design and integration of all the functional scope inside EDS: Cloud, Network, Collaboration, Data Protection, Observability (Monitoring & Alerting), Application Performance Management Capabilities into Mars Digital Technologies portfolio, targeting to deliver cost-effective solutions while maximizing service delivery and customer satisfaction within Mars. This Architect role covers solution/technical architecture for enterprise initiatives, delivering solution architecture document for Digital Transformation Program, Engages/Collaborates with all SME's within his/her subdomain.The role will combine knowledge of technologies, Mars' existing infrastructure and architecture, and the changing requirements of Mars business users, such as: Scalability and Growth taking into consideration the new ERP strategy (instance, regions, segments), Flexibility and Growth including all connectivity needs of the new WoW and model (cloud X on prem solutions), Resilience and Disaster/Recovery Based on the new business platform models, etc., will develop a strategic and architectural roadmap of our core foundations elements, such as Cloud, Network, Hybrid working, technology lifecycle, including the supportability and arch design of concurrent solutions running in parallel (current on-prem ERP X the model with PaaS/SaaS/Cloud), retirement of obsolete technologies, etc.This Infrastructure Senior Architect (SAP) will concentrate all the new demands and business requirements translating into technical specifications orchestrating/liaising the design of the solution within all the functional solution architects that are part of the EDS scopeThe deliverables of this role includes, but not only: High Level Design of the landscape of the new ERP Strategy (Landscape, Interfaces, Integrations, Network Inoperability, Service Design, E2E Support Model), covering programs: Maverick, EOS, D30.

This role will be 100% dedicated to work inside the Digital Core program.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science - or equivalent in experience

  • Proven Expertise In SAP technologies, Including SAP ERP, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Cloud, SAP ABAP and related tools for process automation

  • At least 5 years' experience in IT, including 1-3 years in infrastructure leadership roles

  • Experience in specific technology areas related to the specific architecture role being recruited for.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, including good conflict management and an ability to work well with people from different countries and cultures

  • Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, including working with both information technology professionals and business customers; strong written and verbal skills

  • Versatile knowledge in infra structure areas with a strong learning agility

  • Working Knowledge on Digital Business Platforms (APIs, Software Defined, Virtual Datacenter, cloud, etc.)

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • SAP Infrastructure Design and SAP Implementation: High Level Design for infrastructure scope integrating different functional/technical areas: IaaS X PaaS X SaaS apps, on-prem infra, core shared components, such as network core, cloud, data protection, observability, etc.

  • Work in close collaboration with other architects to design the solution

  • Partner with other platform and enterprise architects, external vendors and consultants to understand and adopt the latest technologies

  • Develop a mid-term (18-36 month) strategic roadmap for specific domain area, including the interim transition architectures that need to be applied to address tactical needs, Mainly an integration of all infra components: Cloud, Networks, ITOperations, Data Protection, Collaboration, Observability

  • Design the technical architecture, identify and manage key technical dependencies

  • Collaborate with project teams during project implementation, ensuring the deliverables are per the architecture design

  • Contribute to the design development, implementation and operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies and security requirements

  • Partner with Operations team to understand pain points foreseeing opportunities for architecture improvements, ensuring the proper design since early stages of implementation/deployment

  • Lead architect platform initiatives, running proof of concept and prototypes to evaluate solutions and creating the build blocks for possible future deployments
