  • Perm Full time role based in Wodonga (VIC) or from our Melbourne office.

As our ANZ Supply Chain Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial performance of our supply chain teams in ANZ.

You will collaborate closely with supply chain leadership teams to develop and execute financial strategies that optimize performance, enhance profitability, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

This role requires a blend of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and operational insight to support the delivery of superior Mars products.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans for each supply chain (Australia & New Zealand), aligning with overall company objectives.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to freight, warehousing, finished goods inventory and bought in finished goods pricing to assess performance and identify areas for optimization.

  • Establish and maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately track logistics costs, including freight and storage. Support accurate calculation of intercompany pricing and reporting of affiliate sales.

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and performance dashboards for supply chain and corporate leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including US GAAP and local tax regulations, by maintaining accurate records and facilitating audits as needed.

  • Partner with supply chain leadership teams in key management forums to provide financial insights and support decision-making on operational investments, resource allocation and operational efficiencies activities.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain managers, offering financial guidance and recommendations to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

  • Analyses cost trends, investigates variances, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and cost-saving initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive co-piloting experience in finance, preferably in an FMCG environment.

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and performance metrics.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience using a range of accounting software, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerBI
