As the Europe Sustainability Regulatory Compliance Senior Manager, Sustainability Program Lead, this role will drive the change management program for EU sustainability regulations, ensuring compliance and enhancing competitiveness across product, packaging, and labeling strategies. By acting as the primary knowledge source within the Royal Canin, this role will shape regulatory strategies, represent our business in the trade associations, and foster a culture of innovation and compliance.
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs with feed/food products and/or related product categories with proficiency in claims and labelling management on the European scale.
- In-depth knowledge across multiple areas of the EU sustainability regulations relevant to the pet food.
- Experience in working on large-scale regulatory projects involving claims and labelling, formulas, ingredients, manufacturing processes; a demonstrated track record of working successfully across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Fluent in English. Other European language will be an asset.
- Master's degree in a technical area, such as feed/food science (food engineering, food safety etc.), Master's degree in veterinary medicine or Master’s degree in law.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop and lead the change management program for the set of the EU Sustainability regulations covering product, packaging material, labelling and claims.
- Implement similar efforts for the UK Sustainability regulations, if and when relevant.
- Ensure the current and future sustainability regulations in scope are properly incorporated into RC regulatory strategies around product, claims, labelling and strategies.
- Participate in the Innovation & Compliance projects as a subject matter expert.
- Represent Royal Canin in the Trade Associations at the regional and national levels.
