We’re excited to offer a 12-month opportunity covering parental leave, as we look for our next digital subject matter expert for the NZ business—someone who will shape our eCommerce strategy, unlock new growth opportunities, and help Mars continue to win in the fast-moving digital space.
You’ll partner closely with customers and internal teams to build long-term joint business plans, drive innovation, and deliver strong commercial results.
eCommerce is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting parts of our business. We’re looking for a passionate and commercially savvy eCommerce Customer Development Manager to lead our digital channel strategy and drive growth across Pureplay, Omnichannel and Specialty customers in New Zealand.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead digital growth
- Shape and deliver the multi-year eCommerce & Pet Specialty strategy
- Identify priority customers and unlock new digital partnerships
Drive customer performance
- Build joint business plans and deliver growth across sales, share and online penetration
- Optimise promotions and trade investment
Be the digital expert
- Spot trends, share insights and lead test-and-learn initiatives
- Partner across Marketing, Supply, Category, Finance and Global teams
Shape the future of eCommerce
- Explore new channels, enhance online experiences and support forecasting & supply planning
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment and loves building momentum behind new ideas.
You will have:
- Experience in FMCG, digital commerce or customer development
- Developed commercial and analytical skills
- Proven ability to build joint business plans and category strategies
- Confidence influencing stakeholders and leading without authority
- A passion for data, insights and digital growth
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
