The Demand Planning Manager role plays a key role within our Customer Experience Team, responsible for leading our Mars Snacking Demand plan and Sales Forecast of record for our Snacking organization. They are the key liaison between our Sales teams & Supply - leading all relevant meetings and ensuring the highest quality forecast is delivered.
As our customer Demand Manager, they are responsible to ensure timely input of information to drive forecast accuracy improvements. This role requires strong technical skills as it leads all steps to publish our forecast each period including necessary adjustments. Once plans are created working with Supply on any constraints or helping provide a view to our demand requirements within the organization.
What are we looking for?
- University or College degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales, Supply Chain, or Data Analysis, with a strong focus on utilizing data to drive business decisions.
- Proven Demand Planning experience is required, including forecasting, inventory management, or collaborative planning.
- Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred (nice-to-have).
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Hold detailed reviews with our Sales team to ensure alignment by account to our annual forecast.
- Support 0-12 & DMR steps.
- Lead all Sales Communications around our Forecast Calls
- Lead SFA improvements and areas of opportunity to improve our Demand function.
- Critical role in Supply and Demand planning meetings
- Managing Forecast outlook with supply production capabilities, communicate constraints and challenges effectively
- Responsible for following all Quality and Food Safety Policies and applicable procedures.
