Role : Demand Planner

Location: Hyderabad
Reports To: Head Planning – Supply Chain

About the Role

Are you passionate about driving demand planning and supply chain excellence? Join Mars Petcare India as a Demand Planner and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations. You will lead the demand planning process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Demand Planning process for the India business unit, developing accurate demand forecasts using statistical tools and market insights.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to build consensus demand plans aligned with business goals.

  • Drive forecast accuracy by monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions.

  • Support new product launches with route-to-market volume forecasts and promotional impact analysis.

  • Generate annual forecasts and scenario plans as part of the business planning process.

  • Build capabilities within the team and work with global Centre of Excellence teams to enhance demand planning maturity.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/B.Sc./B.Tech) with an MBA.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in demand forecasting, statistical methods, and baseline generation.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions and forecasting tools.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with demand forecasting software.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive results.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
