About the role: This role will be working for our Mars ​Petcare​ segment, ​where we make life better for pets and their owners.​ Are you ready to make your mark on one of the world’s most loved pet food brands? Mars is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to support the ADVANCE Marketing team across full 360 campaigns—traditional, digital, and everything in between.

Role Title: Assistant Brand Manager
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Hours: Permanent, Full time
Reporting to: Portfolio Director - Super Premium

What you’ll do

  • Drive insights to action: Analyze market, category, competitor, and consumer data to inform ADVANCE Chilled brand strategies and campaigns.

  • Execute standout campaigns: Support 360° marketing plans, NPD launches, and innovation projects, ensuring flawless delivery and measurable results.

  • Collaborate & influence: Work across Brand, Shopper, Professional Services, and digital teams to bring ideas to life and maximize campaign impact.

  • Lead professional-facing initiatives: Coordinate events, merchandise, and trade materials to engage and support the Professional Services team across ANZ.

  • Optimize & improve: Manage budgets, track performance, lead social media content, and extract insights to refine future brand activity.

Your unique ingredients

  • Bachelor of Business (preferably with a Major in Marketing including digital exposure and expertise)

  • CPG branded experience, implementing brand campaigns across many marketing elements including traditional, digital paid and organic, events.

  • Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, and a clear communicator

  • Action Oriented. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.

  • Nice to haves: Digital community management, animal or food health background, NPD Innovation experience
