Key Responsibilities

Delivery as per Area Budget

  • Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget, covering delivery of Ocean and LNS volumes, revenue growth, and profit optimization

  • Coach and drive the sales team to sell and grow all products

  • Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Sales FBP

Business Target Management

  • Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market and asset view

  • Activate the Capacity and Campaign functions to formalize commercial plans

Customer Satisfaction

  • Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local accounts

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage stakeholders across area, regional, and global functions

  • Actively provide feedback to product teams based on customer feedback and insights

  • Feed Business Development Managers with relevant leads

Team Development

  • Build and develop a world-class sales team

  • Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles, including own role

  • Coach direct reports for success and development

  • Manage local and global engagement

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sales or commercial roles within logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries

  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams in a matrix or international environment

  • Strong understanding of Ocean and LNS products and integrated logistics solutions

  • Solid commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership and performance management

  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into executable commercial plans

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams at local, regional, and global levels

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities

  • Resilient, performance-driven, and customer-focused mindset
