About the Global Service Centre (GSC) Mexico

Maersk’s Global Service Centres are central to how we deliver at scale, support global operations, and enable growth across regions.

GSC Mexico is a strategic hub for the Americas, supporting core business units across Latin America and beyond. It plays a vital role in attracting high-impact talent, driving operational excellence, and strengthening Maersk’s long-term capability in the region.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Talent Attraction & Acquisition Manager to join our Americas People Partner organization and take ownership of an established Talent Acquisition operation supporting a key business unit in Latin America.

You will inherit a fully established Talent Acquisition team and operating model. The focus is on:

  • Sustaining strong delivery standards
  • Strengthening stakeholder partnerships
  • Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality
  • Further embedding Talent Acquisition as a trusted business partner

The position is based in Mexico and reports to the Head of Talent Attraction & Acquisition for the Americas.

Key Responsibilities – Your Impact

  • Partner closely with business leaders to ensure Talent Acquisition strategies are aligned with business and people strategies
  • Lead, manage, and develop an established Talent Acquisition delivery team (Talent Acquisition Specialists and Coordinators)
  • Own and execute workforce and staffing plans, ensuring timely, quality, and diverse hiring outcomes
  • Act as an end-to-end talent solutions partner, bringing strong regional market expertise
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on regional talent markets, candidate availability, and hiring trends
  • Drive recruiting best practices, process improvements, and operational excellence
  • Strengthen Maersk’s employment brand in the region through proactive talent engagement
  • Provide data-driven insights through metrics, dashboards, and analysis to support talent decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on hiring forecasts, priorities, and evolving talent needs
  • Lead strategic sourcing activities, including competitor mapping and targeted talent pipelining
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for critical and senior roles
  • Manage and optimize relationships with external Talent Acquisition partners
  • Ensure compliance, consistency, and high recruitment standards across all hiring activity

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition delivery and strategy in a complex, high-volume environment
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing established TA teams
  • Deep end-to-end recruitment expertise, from sourcing to offer management and stakeholder advisory
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong market knowledge and a proactive approach to sourcing and pipelining talent
  • Experience recruiting within a North American and/or Latin American context, including international hiring
  • Strong analytical capability, using data to guide decisions and improve outcomes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, international organization
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
