Job Description

The position of Process Management Associate in the commercial sector of our warehouse in the automotive sector plays a central role in optimizing and monitoring our warehouse and logistics operations. The main purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and smooth operational processes to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers. This includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes to enhance quality, productivity and profitability. The Process Manager is responsible for analyzing data and trends to identify bottlenecks or inefficient processes and initiating appropriate measures for optimization. Additionally, the position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and standards in warehouse operations and implementing environmental and sustainability initiatives. Overall, the position aims to maximize operational efficiency and ensure that our automotive warehouse achieves its goals in terms of quality, customer orientation, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

• Development, analysis, and optimization of processes
• Conducting root cause analyses for process disruptions
• Active support in the implementation of new customer businesses Systematic creation, maintenance, and adjustment of customer and item master data
• Monitoring of errors in the EDI transmission of call offs and, if necessary, resolution
• Supporting quality service providers and system-based (un)blocking of part numbers
• Communication with customers, service providers, and automotive manufacturers
• Handling of complaints via the dedicated complaint management tool
• Preparation and supervision of inventory stock takes
• Maintenance of OEM-specific returnable accounts / account reconciliations
• Reporting of cargo damages to insurance companies
• Internal coordination of warehouse and transport damages
• Listing of additional costs incurred for the monthly final billing
• Ordering of additional packaging (e.g., replacement pallets) for customers
• Creation of necessary process documentation and packaging instructions

Who we are looking for:

• Completed degree in Business Engineering or a comparable field, Alternatively, completed vocational training in the field of forwarding/logistics with several years of experience in the processes optimization
• Few years of professional experience in a comparable area such as project management
• Fluent both in English and German
• Proficient in PSI Penta, good computer skills including MS-Office applications
• Customer- and quality-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Sense of responsibility, flexibility and a good team player
• Excellent analytical skills
• Process-oriented thinking

Die Position des Process Management Associate im kommerziellen Bereich unseres Lagers im Automobilsektor spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Gestaltung, Überwachung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Lager- und Logistikprozesse. Die Kernaufgabe dieser Position umfasst die Sicherstellung effizienter und reibungsloser Betriebsabläufe, um eine pünktliche und kosteneffiziente Lieferung der Waren an unsere Kunden zu gewährleisten. Dies umfasst die Entwicklung, Implementierung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Prozessen zur Steigerung von Qualität, Produktivität und Rentabilität. Als Prozessmanager sind Sie außerdem für die Analyse prozessrelevanter Daten und Trends verantwortlich, um bei der Identifizierung von Engpässen oder ineffizienten Prozessen präventiv geeignete Maßnahmen zur Optimierung einzuleiten. Darüber hinaus spielt die Position eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Vorschriften und Standards in der Lagerhaltung sowie bei der Umsetzung von Umwelt- und Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen. Insgesamt zielt die Position darauf ab, die Betriebseffizienz unseres Lagers zu maximieren sowie sicherzustellen, dass die Ziele in Bezug auf Qualität, Kundenorientierung und Kosteneffizienz erreicht werden.

Hauptaufgaben, Tätigkeiten und Aktivitäten:

• Entwicklung, Analyse und Optimierung von Prozessen
• Durchführung von Ursachenanalysen bei Prozessstörungen
• Aktive Unterstützung bei der Implementierung neuer Kundenprojekte
• Erstellung, Pflege und Anpassung von Kunden- und Artikelstammdaten
• Überwachung ein- und ausgehender EDI-Übertragungen sowie aktives Eingreifen im Störfall
• Unterstützung von Qualitätsdienstleistern und systemgestütztes Bestandsmanagement
• Kommunikation mit Kunden, Dienstleistern und Automobilherstellern
• Reklamationsabwicklung über das Reklamationsmanagement-Tool
• Vorbereitung und Überwachung von Bestandsinventuren
• Leergut-Behältermanagement / Kontenabstimmungen
• Meldung von Frachtschäden an Versicherungsgesellschaften
• Interne Koordination von Lager- und Transportschäden
• Auflistung zusätzlicher Kosten für die monatliche Endabrechnung
• Beschaffung zusätzlicher Verpackungsmaterialien (z.B. Ersatzpaletten) für Kunden
• Erstellung notwendiger Prozessdokumentationen und Verpackungsanweisungen

Gesuchtes Profil:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich. Alternativ eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich Spedition/Logistik mit mehrjähriger prozessorientierter Erfahrung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einem vergleichbaren Bereich wie z.B. Projektmanagement
• Fließend in Englisch und Deutsch
• Versiert in PSI Penta wünschenswert, gute EDV Kenntnisse einschl. MS-Office-Anwendungen
• Kunden- und qualitätsorientierte Arbeitsweise

• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
