MPL Procurement Specialist

As an MPL Procurement Specialist , you’ll play a vital part in our success. You will be responsible to support the Latin America MPL teams in the due diligence and linkage experience process of our vendors. You will also carry out procurement activities for specific cargo categories with third-party suppliers, where process optimization and speed play a crucial role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily follow-up, reporting, and initiation of actions regarding the progress of the vendor creation or vendor management process.

  • Performing background checks and other tasks to ensure accurate knowledge of business associates, utilizing and analyzing available tools.

  • Monitoring and reporting vendors performance, based on key metrics.

  • Conducting data analysis and preparing reports to optimize the vendor creation process.

  • Implementing process improvements for the procurement of spot offers and vendor updates/creation.

  • Developing quotaions with vendors for certain services.

  • Collaborating with area MPL teams to ensure the correct assignment flow of operations to the appropriate general cargo vendors.

  • Optimization of processes inside the Procurement MPL Team.

We are looking for:

  • Graduate student from a Technical or Professional Bachelor in Logistics; Engineering; Business Administration, Economy, or related areas.

  • At least 1 year of experience in procurement or pricing in forwarding and/or logistics companies.

  • Experience in project cargo is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Sense of urgency and proactiveness.

  • Organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in MS Office. Proficiency in MS Excel.

  • English proficiency (written and spoken).
