Here’s the Deal:
We’re looking for a talented Tax Analyst who’s ready to take on the challenge of ensuring compliance and precision in corporate income tax processes across LATAM. If you have a solid background in direct tax compliance, statutory reporting, and a flair for optimizing tax processes, this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in supporting audits, maintaining tax documentation, and enhancing overall reporting and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely corporate tax returns and withholding taxes across LATAM.

  • Collect, process, analyze, and reconcile data for direct tax filings, tax payments, group tax reporting, and statutory disclosures.

  • Maintain documentation to support tax positions and filings.

  • Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies, protocols, and planning opportunities.

  • Oversee direct tax compliance processes within LATAM, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare reconciliations, reports, and responses to management, tax authorities, and auditors.

  • Monitor and report on corporate income tax operations and related controls, improving data quality and KPIs.

  • Ensure proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders, including the Global Tax Process Owner, third-party advisors, and upstream process owners such as ATR and statutory accounting.

The Basics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in direct tax compliance and corporate income tax activities.

  • Hands-on experience preparing/reviewing direct tax returns (CIT, WHT, freight tax) in LATAM.

  • Understanding of IFRS standards for tax reporting, including tax provisions and exposures.

  • Experience supporting tax audits and dispute resolution processes.

  • Familiarity with financial and accounting systems, tax compliance/reporting processes, and internal controls.

  • ERP systems experience (SAP preferred) and knowledge of tax reporting tools and automation.

  • Intermediate Excel skills (ability to manipulate and transform data).

  • Language: English B1-B2 (CEFR) preferred.
