Head of Operational Excellence (OpEx) - Europe

We are now recruiting for a Head of Operational Excellence – Europe to lead the deployment of TMW across the region. This is a strategic and influential role, critical to ensuring high standards, sustainable performance, and a culture of continuous improvement at scale.

The Role
As the Regional Head of Operational Excellence, you will:
- Translate global TMW frameworks into actionable, regionally relevant plans.
- Drive the deployment of core OpEx tools (e.g., daily management systems, problem-solving, visual management).
- Facilitate planning, performance reviews, and governance with senior regional leaders.
- Act as an enterprise integrator and coach, supporting both frontline teams and leadership in building operational excellence capabilities.
- Lead a matrixed team of OpEx resources and regional ambassadors to deliver impactful, measurable outcomes.
- Monitor maturity and KPI performance, enabling data-driven decisions and escalations.
- Foster a learning environment through training, best practice sharing, and continuous improvement cycles.
- Ensure feedback loops from regional execution to central teams for ongoing TMW enhancement.
What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Successful regional deployment of TMW tools, standards, and routines aligned with global timelines.
- Capability development across operations teams – both leadership and frontline.
- Measurable improvement in key KPIs across customer experience, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Leadership alignment, adoption, and sustained engagement with operational excellence.
- Regional contribution to enterprise-wide maturity progression and transformation.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement within complex, global operations.
- Proven ability to translate enterprise vision into local, actionable impact.
- Skilled in influencing across senior and frontline stakeholders in matrixed environments.
- Strong programme management and facilitation skills with high comfort in ambiguity and pace.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to driving transformation.
- Track record of developing people and embedding lasting behavioural and cultural change.
- Hybrid working model with some time spent in the office and from home
- Comfortable travelling for work, as there will be pan-European travel
