The Job

As Renewables (Wind) Growth Enablement Manager, you will be an important contributor to Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) growth journey and ambitions. In the renewable’s growth enablement team, you will have 3 colleagues with whom you will have close collaboration and be part of a regional growth enablement team spanning across 4 verticals who are all dedicated to MPL’s growth ambitions. The position is in UK, preferably Liverpool but other location can be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

As Renewables Growth Manager you will have an important role in ensuring a healthy business pipeline together with our sales team and qualify the inflow of opportunities and actively leading tenders to ensure our proposals are comprehensive and competitive and meets the customers tender requirements.

The position requires a strong commercial and operational mindset where experience with project cargo and general cargo flows is key to success

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop opportunities for MPL brought forward by commercial teams
  • Coordinate with solution pricing team to provide pricing to opportunities brought forward by commercial teams
  • Actively leading the RFI, RFQ and RFP process for MPL as co-sponsor with sales
  • Ensure sponsored RFQ & RFP proposals submitted are comprehensive, competitive and within the parameters set by global product
  • Support new business pursuits via our sales/internal stakeholders to deliver a sound business proposal on time and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Approach new leads jointly with relevant sales colleague, transferring opportunity ownership to sales in line with sales accountability

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate can offer:

  • Project Freight Forwarding experience is a must. Experience from the wind industry is great, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and ability to set clear direction, priorities and focus.
  • Great communication skills at all levels – and fluent in English language, both written and spoken
  • Capable of setting your own agenda, prioritizing tasks, and executing them effectively to achieve agreed goals.
  • Commercial and negotiation skillsets
  • Flexibility to travel for exhibitions and customer meetings
