Job Description: Engineering Manager (RCM and EMR KTLO Team)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, delivery, maintenance, and improvement of business applications.
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices for efficient code production using open-source frameworks and patterns.
- Manage the health and performance of the production environment on Azure Cloud.
- Coordinate incident resolution efforts and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and practices.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide career development guidance.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Guide the transition to Kubernetes microservice architecture.
- Ensure the reduction of technical debt and support business feature enhancements as needed.
- Handle people management using Workday software.
- Manage performance and development of team members.
- Take ownership of technical delivery.
- Report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ yrs proven experience in software development and team management.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development, particularly with .NET and Angular frameworks.
- Experience with incident management and resolution.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Cloud services.
- .Proficiency in using Workday software for people management
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IoT platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservice architecture.
