AI Delivery Lead

Job Description

Job Purpose/summary

The AI Delivery lead is responsible for leading, integrating and managing initiatives that drive AI adoption in Maersk and derive maximum business value.

The role will also ensure clear roadmaps for training and awareness of AI including Ethics and governance.

A big part of this role is to ensure regular customer feedback sessions, and Gembas, capture requirements and drive Improvements into completion. This spans across TSE services and ensure The Customer is our Compass at any time.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive AI adoption strategy aligned with Maersk's business goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of AI projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of AI technologies across the organisation.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programmes to upskill employees on AI technologies and their applications.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies, and drive innovation within the organisation.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that AI initiatives comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Desired skills

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading AI projects and initiatives, preferably within a large organisation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading change management efforts and driving organisational transformation.
  • Ethical Awareness: Understanding of ethical considerations and regulatory requirements related to AI.
