Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious Technical Support Consultant to join our Technical Customer Operations team at AMANA. As a member of the team, you will be primarily responsible for second-level support as well as IT services and consulting on interfaces for our software products.

What you'll do

• Responsible for IT services on second level support for our software products (Java-based web applications/ .Net client-server software) as well as for consulting on interfaces
• Handling and coordination of customer requests via telephone and e-mail
• First point of contact for recording, classifying and processing (technical) inquiries in our ticket system
• Providing individual solutions and assistance
• Planning, documentation and project support for installation and configuration processes of our software products and the required server structures

What you bring to the table

• (IHK) degree as IT specialist (specializing in system integration) or career changer with relevant professional experience
• Sound knowledge of current Windows server operating systems, knowledge of Linux is desirable
• Basic knowledge of common network technologies and database systems
• Experience in creating scripts in Powershell
• Knowledge of Web Application Server (Apache Tomcat/IIS)
• Knowledge of modern SSO technologies such as OAuth and SAML
• Basic knowledge of certificates
• Very good language skills in German and English, both written and spoken
