ABOUT US:

Created in 2022, KellyDeli Shop - subsidiary of KellyDeli Group is selling a range of authentic Korean and Japanese food under Kelly Loves brand through Retail and eCommerce in various countries, mostly in Europe for now.

THE GOAL

The aim of the Finance Manager position is to work across all day-to-day finance matters related to KellyDeli Shop and play a crucial role in our growth story. The Finance Manager will work closely with the General Manager and the team in the creation of budgets and reforecasts, commercial proposals, producing monthly management accounts, cash flows, accounting, liaising with the group finance team, ensuring finance deadlines can be met.

The role is your own to grow with and there may be scope to get involved in a lot more than the below tasks once settled in.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Department – Finance

Reporting to – KellyDeli Shop General Manager

Working with external stakeholders (fiscal consultant, payroll company, advisors, Customers and Suppliers based in different countries) and internal relationships across all departments

WHAT YOU DO

  • Supporting the General Manager on all finance related matters, including, but not limited to, producing monthly board packs, budgeting and reforecasting process, relationship with external accountants, banks and tax authorities
  • Providing solutions and being a true business partner to achieve and drive organizational objectives
  • Managing the financial results - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow. Identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions
  • Monitoring financial performance against agreed targets and advising on appropriate actions
  • Liaising with either Customers or Suppliers Finance teams when necessary.
  • Working closely with the Group Finance team to drive process improvements and implement new tools
  • Ensure that the finance processes follow the Group guideline and comply with local Spanish GAAP
  • Manage statutory and Tax obligations (VAT, etc) in the different countries where we operate
  • Forecasting, reporting, controlling of budget
  • Optimizing the use of working capital, managing rolling cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, stock inventory monitoring and reconciliation, credit control, payment run and day-to-day accounting

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a professional accounting qualification and an experience of management reporting, accounting, planning and analysis, ideally within FMCG/retail industry.
  • You have a strong systems knowledge, including Excel, and ability to build own processes
  • You have a strong accounting software knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
  • You have an ability to manage tasks very efficiently
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English, it is mandatory to be able to communicate with stakeholders and teams from other countries.
  • Precise, you have an eye for details but are able to raise the bar and see the big picture
  • You are able to work in an autonomous and flexible environment
  • You want to be part of an exciting project, working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Knowledge of Asian culture and cuisine is a distinct advantage
