If our range doesn’t match your expectations, let us know and we’re open to discussing.- Interviews: 3 stages totalling around 3 hours over 2-3 weeks.- Start date: Our preference is for a start date around August. HELP US HELP THE WORLD AGREE MORE
Juro has big ambitions: de-throne MS Word to become the default way to agree terms globally. That means rebuilding contracts from the ground-up around a browser-native experience. And we'll need a lot of help doing it.
Legal tech on the rise: companies in this space already attracted more than $1 billion in funding this year as the slow-moving industry digitises. We're in a great position to lead the charge.
The challenge:We have 6 cross-functional product teams today (which you might know as pods, tribes, etc.). Each team is comprised of engineers, engineering team leads and product designers. Our 3 Product Managers provide support to all of them.
As our product has matured, we plan to build out our product management team in 2023 to provide dedicated 1-1 support support for each of the team.
Where you come in:We are looking for Product Managers with experience building tools to support collaboration, complex workflows and/or content management, with a strong focus on usability.
You will join one of our existing teams responsible for building and refining our Core Product, and be directly accountable for a well-defined subset of Juro’s overall product strategy.
YOUR MISSION
To bring the right products to market. This means:- You understand the problems we can solve that are highest value for customers.- You bring products to market adoption (i.e. people use the products you ship).
Success for you means:- ⭐ Adoption, as measured by % of customers using a given featureInputs to this success metric are: - Solid research / understanding of customers- Good collaboration with GTM teams to get these measures- Creative problem-solving (lowest common denominator to solve the problem with the least amount of work)
Day-to-day, you will:- Lead one of our most complex cross-functional Teams working on Juro’s Contract Repository, as part of our Core Product Team- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and the needs of existing and future customers, defining and executing a product strategy that has the highest impact.- Draft clear requirements and specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences.- Serve as the subject matter expert on your product at Juro, collaborating with stakeholders from across the business to develop, prioritise, and secure buy-in for your roadmap.- Partner with your Engineering and Design counterparts to deliver a high-quality product in an agile environment, maximising value and minimising waste.- Align your team on strategic goals, KPIs, and any impact from cross-team product roadmaps. Contribute to Juro’s planning process, providing input for OKRs that create a clear and measurable direction for your product.- Be fluent in the financial dynamics of your product, engaging with Finance, Sales and Customer Success to align your team’s capacity with Juro’s financial objectives.- Mentor and coach new Product Managers.
Your progression with Juro:We expect the next natural step for you will be to become a Staff (IC5) or Group (MN1) Product Manager. We have a Career framework for steady progression at Juro and will support you in whichever path suits you best in your future.
THIS MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF...
🌈 Research shows that while men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, women and those in traditionally underrepresented groups tend to apply only if they check all boxes. So if you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
We look for people whose approach to work aligns with our values & behaviours. For this role especially, we value:- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, and a results mindset (Strive To Deliver)- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Keep It Simple)
On top of that:- You have 6+ years* of experience in SaaS of Product Management working in the data science/analytics problem space (exposure to search, indexing and/or machine learning preferred)- You navigated periods of fast growth and supported scaling teams in a fast-paced setting.- You have a keen intuition for product and UX, and can apply data and systems thinking to solve complex problems.- You have a customer-centric mindset, and are adept at striking a balance between customer feedback, business viability, and technical feasibility to drive optimal results.- You worked with cross-functional teams in an agile setting (preferably Scrum or TPS/Kanban).- You have mentored new and early-stage Product Managers.
Bonus if:- You have a background in computer science or another relevant technical field.
* What you did is more important than how long you did it. While this range is an orientation for you to understand what the IC4 level means to us, we still want to hear from you if you think you have what it takes but don't quite meet this number (e.g. 4+ years is more akin to IC3 for us).
WHY JOIN US?
If you’re someone who wants to work for a vibrant, successful tech company but worry that most companies with “unicorn” ambitions are…- chaotic (= immature operation and prone to over-hiring)- fragile (= high cash burn and no profitability)- volatile (= vulnerable to market swings and layoffs)…and therefore often not conducive to building a sustainable career foundation, you should consider Juro. Here’s why.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly under + learn from an accomplished Product leader on a product that is disrupting the world of contracts — away from static, Word-based files and toward a browser-native platform that is built for 21st century contract management.
We’re a company in its growth phase that sits in the sweetspot between:- Early stage start-ups: We’re far enough along that it isn’t just chaos.- Large, multi-national software behemoths: We offer more autonomy, less red tape, more impact and faster growth for high performers in a compressed timespan.- Other UK/EU scale-ups: Our operation is more mature than our stage and we offer a balance between fast but responsible, sustainable growth.
