Job Description

At Improbable, we’ve been venturing into unexplored territory for over a decade, seeking new ways to connect people and amplify their lives. We’re shaping virtual worlds of unprecedented scale for the gaming, web3, and related sectors, creating world-changing technology. With us, you’ll tackle questions that no one else is asking and find answers that define the future.
We’re leading the way in defining what the metaverse can be. This is where you get to explore interconnected, immersive, exciting worlds that have never been seen before and where you decide what the future looks like. Are you ready?
Your Mission
In this exciting role, you'll be the lead for Technical Marketing at MSquared. As Lead Technical Marketing Manager, you will create content aimed at developers, supporting their success as they use MSquared tools and ultimately driving adoption of our products and services.
Your initial focus will be on MSquared, our platform for Metaverses. MSquared enables developers to build and operate massive-scale metaverse experiences for over 10,000 concurrent users, working together with Unreal Engine 5, and integrated with a blockchain-based interoperability protocol.
You will also have the opportunity to work with our central marketing teams, who focus on user acquisition for metaverses (i.e. consumer marketing) and PR & Communications. This role has a real hands-on impact on building the Improbable marketing and communications ecosystem for our core product offering across the M² project.

Your Opportunity:

  • Craft compelling stories around MSquared Origin workflows which you will then share with the developer community across relevant channels: webinars, our websites and social media, Discord and developer meet-ups.
  • Creating and managing materials such as slide decks, demos, and detailed documentation that help the sales team effectively communicate the value of the product to prospective customers, particularly those with a technical background.
  • Designing and maintaining the website dedicated to the software product, ensuring it is informative, user-friendly, and appealing to developers.
  • Advocate for our Deverlopers to inform product roadmaps, positioning, marketing strategy, and execution.
  • Managing social media platforms to promote the product's capabilities, engage with the developer community, and showcase projects and contributions made by users. This may also involve leading community-building efforts like forums, webinars, and developer conferences.
  • Apply your in-depth understanding of our customers to act as a voice of the customer inside of Improbable.

Why You're Made for This:

  • Hands-on working with content creation tools for professional developers, preferably Unreal Engine; with the ability to create your own relevant examples using our tools
  • A record of success in technical marketing, with a strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and what appeals to developers; with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an engaging way.
  • The ability to bridge technical concepts for non-technical audiences (such as business development, leadership and marketing) and translate engine capabilities into consumer features in a metaverse.
  • A love for developers with ability to understand their needs and desires; understand how they are using our products and use them yourself.
  • Ability to understand the problems of target developers and to translate them into actionable insights for our product management and engineering teams.
  • Marketing and communication skills tailored to resonate with developers, such as using more technical language and showcasing real-world applications of the product.
