Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Friday 21st August 2026. Please note, we may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications.

Are you looking to start your journey with HEINEKEN UK? You already know that we make great beers and ciders. We also offer exciting careers where you can make a real impact behind the scenes.

We're looking for a Rebates & Third Party Distribution (TPD) Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Control team. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes and turning data into meaningful insight, this is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting one of the UK's largest On Trade businesses.

About the role
Our Commercial Control team plays an important role in supporting our On Trade business. Working closely with Finance, Front Line Sales, HBS and our distributor partners, we ensure our Third Party Distribution (TPD) and On Trade rebates balance sheet processes are accurate, compliant and well controlled. The result is reliable reporting, accurate payments and the confidence that our commercial operations are running as they should.

Reporting to the On Trade Finance Controller, you’ll support two key areas of the business: On Trade Rebates and Third Party Distribution (TPD). You'll take ownership of key control and review processes, ensuring they're completed accurately and on time, while helping strengthen governance and compliance across both areas.

You'll be responsible for producing and maintaining robust reporting for our TPD customers. You'll also help ensure rebate payments to customers and distributors are accurate through detailed analysis, review and challenge, while maintaining strong control over the overall On Trade rebates balance sheet.

As a trusted finance partner, you'll work with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, HBS and external partners to answer queries, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. You'll challenge constructively where needed, identify opportunities to improve processes and help ensure we continue to meet both internal standards and external control requirements.

Success in this role comes from building strong relationships, asking the right questions and balancing attention to detail with commercial thinking. You'll become a key point of contact across the business, helping to ensure our reporting, controls and governance frameworks remain robust and effective.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right first time.

You'll be naturally curious, confident working with stakeholders and always looking for ways to improve existing processes.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • A finance or accountancy qualification, or be part-qualified or recently graduated.
  • Around 1 to 2 years' experience in finance, ideally within FMCG or another commercial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial data and Excel.
  • The ability to interpret information, solve problems and make sound decisions using your judgement.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence building relationships and constructively challenging stakeholders where appropriate.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and simply.

We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You’re also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above – as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked regarding skillsets.

Our Benefits
As part of the team, along with your salary, you'll also receive:

  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Annual Bonus
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday (pro rata)
  • Flexible benefits, including a retail discounts platform
  • A quarterly allowance towards purchasing our delicious ciders and beers (low and no alcohol options available)

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks, where colleagues from across the business work together to help ensure we're building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

Our ways of working
This role is based at our Edinburgh office, operating on a hybrid working model. You'll typically spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day of your choice in the office, with the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days. Of course, you're always welcome to work from the office more often if you prefer.
