About us
As the UK’s leading beer, cider and pub business, we’re home to some of the world’s best-loved beers and ciders, and a leading player in the international drinks industry.
We're the name behind a host of brilliant brands, from Inch’s to Birra Moretti and many more. And with around 2,400 pubs to our name in the UK, our Star Pubs business is all about putting pubs at the centre of community life.
Approach to diversity & inclusion
Belonging at HEINEKEN
We’re always on the lookout for fresh perspectives – people who bring different backgrounds, experiences and ideas. We know that diversity makes us stronger. After all, our customers and consumers come from all walks of life, and we do our best work when our teams do too.
Together, we celebrate and stand for inclusion.
From marching at Pride to sponsoring women’s football at the UEFAs, from rolling out Disability Inclusion training to pub staff to tackling loneliness in our communities via our charity partner, Marmalade Trust – we don’t just talk about allyship, we show up for it.
Across HEINEKEN globally, 28% of our senior managers were women in 2023. We're aiming for 30% women in senior management roles by the end of 2025, and 40% by 2030.
At HEINEKEN, everyone is welcomed and valued. ‘Care for people and planet’ is one of our core values, and our purpose – brewing the Joy of True Togetherness – guides everything we do. When you join us, you too will have the opportunity to become a DE&I ambassador or connect with one of our Colleague Networks. Ready to be part of something great?

Flexible working at HEINEKEN UK
We've offices in Edinburgh and London, and we have some office-based roles available at our Supply Chain sites in Tadcaster, Manchester and Hereford.
Depending on your role, you'll either be:
- Office or site-based – We currently operate a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office or on-site for full-time colleagues (Tuesdays, Thursdays and one day of your choice, pro-rated for reduced hours). You're more than welcome to attend more often than that.
- Field-based or remote – You'll be based at home because of the nature of your role. The need to travel will depend on your role.
We believe in finding the right balance in both your personal and professional life, which is why we're open to discussing smarter working arrangements with colleagues. These can either be informally or formally agreed and might include:
- Flexible start and finish times
- Part time hours
- Job shares
- Compressed working patterns
Some roles won't be suitable for all forms of smarter working, but we encourage open discussions about what this might look like for you.
