Job Description

📍 Base office: We’re open to this role being based in London or Lincoln, with regular travel between our offices to stay connected and collaborate in person.

Whichever office you are based, you’ll usually work 2 days a week in the office and 3 days remote/WFH, with monthly travel to our other offices.

🚅 Why the travel? Your key stakeholders - and much of the People & Talent team - are spread across all three offices, so spending time together in person helps you really understand the people, processes, and culture you’re hiring for.

đź’° We cover it: Travel and accommodation costs when you visit another office are fully covered.

N.B The first two weeks Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be in our London office regardless of your base office

Our mission:

  • Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Our mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world 🌎

  • We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠

  • Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission! đź’š

The Opportunity:

  • Owning high-volume roles end to end, using creative attraction strategies, direct sourcing, and employer branding activity to build future talent pipelines.

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to build effective, structured processes and manage all candidate scheduling, debriefs, and feedback loops.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and authentic journey that positively reflects the employer brand.

  • Maintain accuracy on Ashby to track funnel performance, analyse hiring metrics to spot bottlenecks, and balance speed with quality.

  • Provide guidance and market insight to support better hiring decisions, refine recruitment workflows, and contribute to broader People and Talent team initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Previous end-to-end recruitment experience, including high-volume, evergreen, or repeat hiring across more than one level or type of role.

  • Experience working closely with Hiring Managers to build relationships, keep stakeholders informed, and constructively challenge where needed.

  • Experience using a modern ATS (ideally Ashby), AI, automation, and recruitment technology, combined with a proactive approach to sourcing candidates.

  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills to keep a lot of plates spinning without candidates or Hiring Managers wondering what’s going on.

  • A curious, proactive nature and a genuine passion & care for candidate experience and hiring the right people, not just filling a role.

It would also be great if you’ve:

  • Worked in a high-growth or fast-changing business.

  • Recruited within Insurance, Financial Services, Customer Operations, Contact Centres, Sales or another high-volume environment.

Why you'll love being a Goodlordian

Aside from the role, the people, our culture and our mission, we have some other things that make Goodlord a pretty awesome place to be. Here’s a few favourites amongst Goodlordians (check out our careers page for more info).

  • Grow with Goodlord: your development is important to us, that’s why we are Great Place to Work - certified. Have a goal in mind? Share it with us so we can use some of our annual development fund to support it. We guarantee you’ll learn loads and develop both personally and professionally!

  • Your well-being matters: bi-weekly coaching with Sanctus to provide Goodlordians with a safe place to talk and support your mental health

  • 25 days holiday (plus UK Bank holidays) plus 1 day per full holiday year up to 32 days: We believe regular breaks are essential for well-being and we encourage (some may say expect!) all Goodlordians to take full advantage of their annual leave entitlement.

  • Supporting your family: we offer Goodlordians of all genders a generous 3 months of fully-paid time off to look after their new arrivals

  • Our team: we’re an energetic, sociable, and talented bunch who are super passionate about what we do and determined to make a difference. We’re all in it together, we learn from each other, we’re genuine and we don’t have time for politics
