Finance Assistant (6-month FTC)

Job Description

📍 Based in our London office 2 days per week with the remaining 3 days working remotely.

Please note that this role is a 6-month FTC and is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Finance.

• Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission! 💚

The Opportunity:

• Supporting in key project to move customers to a new billing process and system

• Supporting and reporting into our management accountant to deliver key projects

• Working closely with the operations teams and commercial teams to ensure that the correct data is transferred to the new system

• Opportunity to work with netsuite, salesforce and other enterprise grade solutions

• Working with a strong high performing finance team supporting thousands of clients

What we need from you:

• Strong numerical skills, being part of our finance team this is essential - No surprises there though!

• Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to use formulas such as sumifs, xlookup

• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers - via phone, email, hangout and in-person

• Experience working within a finance team is desirable but not essential, ideally reconciling high numbers of transactions

• A degree in Finance or a related field is desirable, but by no means essential - practical experience and a great attitude matter just as much
