The Role:

We're looking for a Commercial Product MBA Intern to join our team for a period of 3 months reporting into our Director of Business Operations. You’ll be responsible for achieving trip performance goals through cross-functional collaboration and using your analytical skills, you’ll leverage external market insights and internal insights to identify risks and opportunities, validate hypotheses and execute performance-boosting initiatives across your product portfolio.

  • You must be studying as a Masters student currently and looking for a summer internship OR have just graduated from a relevant Masters program.

  • You must have at least 3 years of prior relevant work experience as an analyst, ideally in strategy/business consulting, or with a strong analytical, product, operational and/or commercial background.

  • This is a remote role - you must be based in the UK but can work from anywhere within the country.

  • This is a full-time minimum 3 month role and we’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible - ideally July.

  • The salary band for this role is £30,000 - £36,000 annually (dependent on experience) and will be pro-rated for the 3 month period.

Where you will spend your time:

Trip Performance Management and Optimisation:

  • Tracking and analysing key trip performance metrics such as bookings, trip-fill, margin, and NPS across your assigned portfolio

  • Identifying and prioritising optimisation opportunities within your portfolio, seeking input from cross-functional teams including Customer Experience, DMC Account Management and Growth

  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify underperforming trips using a mix of internal data, marketing insights, and competitor insights

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams (Pricing, DMC Account Management, Growth/Demand) to validate hypotheses and implement solutions

Quality and Efficiency:

  • Developing and rolling out scalable processes and systems to streamline performance management and reduce manual workload

  • Collaborating with Tech, Pricing, DMC, and Growth/Demand teams to improve cross functional collaboration on product performance

Strategic Alignment & Input:

  • Identifying and sharing key trends to inform long-term product strategy and support new product development

  • Maintaining clear, consistent communication with stakeholders to keep initiatives aligned and outcomes on track

  • Trip Fill Rate (%)

  • Departure Cancellation Rate (%)

  • Trip Bookings

  • Trip Margins

  • Trip NPS

What we’d love to see from you:

  • You have experience in Supply or Product Management, with a track record of managing multiple products across key performance metrics

  • You’ve got the ability to monitor and analyse performance of products, using data to drive improvements and make informed decisions

  • You’re able to quickly grasp existing process flows and identify inefficiencies

  • You’re able to execute and embed new processes, drive adoption, troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration into existing workflows

  • You’ve got strong critical thinking skills - you can evaluate different scenarios and their potential impact on performance

  • You’ve got strong analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

  • You’re proficient in data analysis and can use analytical tools to support decision making and performance improvement

  • You’ve got a willingness to stay updated with the latest market, competitor and customer trends

Logistics 🛠️

Our interviews take place on Google Meet and usually consist of the following stages:

  • An interview with the hiring manager to hear more about your background and experience and to give you a deep dive into the role (45 mins)

  • A case study and presentation with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder to see how you’d solve a problem (60 mins)

Some roles may have extra stages, but we will let you know as soon as possible in the process if this is the case.
