The opportunity

The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a Better Working World. The insights and services the organization provides help to drive long-term value for clients, people and society and to build trust in the capital markets. An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS), is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCS’s value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain.

A key component of SCS is Global Procurement, whose purpose is to drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent, Alliances and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities.

EY’s Global Procurement organization is scaling a nextgeneration digital operating model across all Buying Channels, with AI and data at the core. As Senior Digital Solutions & Strategy Lead, you will own the digital vision and roadmap for Global Procurement from ideation and solution design through verification, rollout and operational enablement working across Technology, Category teams, Risk, Infosec and more to deliver measurable value at enterprise scale.

Why this role matters

Global Procurement drives synergy from sourcing through contract lifecycle management, strengthens supplier resilience and delivers exceptional internal client experience across Technology, Talent, Alliances and BMC categories. The function is executing an accelerated digital agenda (e.g., Autonomous Sourcing Agents (ASA), RFx CoPilot, Smart Landing Page/Faster Buying Channels, E2E procurement modernization), creating the foundation for AIdriven productivity, resilience, compliance and cost outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the digital transformation strategy and multiyear roadmap for Global Procurement, ensuring clear value, prioritisation and measurable outcomes.
  • Act as functional product owner for End to End procurement transformation, defining scope, shaping business requirements, signing off on design, and ensuring smooth transition to BAU.
  • Lead the design, pilot and scaleup of AIenabled capabilities (Autonomous Sourcing Agent, RFx CoPilot, Smart Landing Page / Faster Buying Channels).
  • Oversee solution validation and UAT, confirming features meet functional needs and deliver the intended business value.
  • Partner with Technology to drive programme delivery, managing dependencies, risks, sequencing, benefits, and cross functional alignment.
  • Strengthen data, analytics and governance working with the reporting team, improving spend, supplier, and contract data quality, and enabling better insights and decision making.
  • Embed risk, controls, compliance and resilience into digital workflows, ensuring auditability, supplier risk integration, and alignment to policies and ISQM requirements.
  • Integrate sustainability and ESG into sourcing and supplier lifecycle processes.
  • Lead operational tool/platform enablement including workflow modernisation, tool governance, and process design across regions.
  • Produce strategic executive level communications.
  • Drive change leadership and global adoption, ensuring readiness, communications, training and behaviour change across functions and geographies.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Legal, and Category teams to align decisions and accelerate enterprisewide adoption.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Highly capable deploying AI platforms, eProcurement tools and spend analytics; able to translate business needs into data models, prompts/guardrails and user journeys.
  • Experience embedding supplier risk, compliance, internal controls into digital workflows; designed for continuity and policy adherence.
  • Practical knowledge integrating core KPIs into sourcing and supplier management solutions enabling maximum user acceptance.
  • Proven levers across demand, channelling, autonomous/tail spend, competition and analytics backed negotiations, benefit tracking and realization governance.
  • Understanding of key financial drivers, along with strong numerical skill sets
  • Highly credible with senior stakeholders; lead crossfunctional teams; clear, executivegrade storytelling and decision framing.
  • Strong influencer capable of driving alignment with sourcing managers and key senior stakeholders and leaders.
  • The ability to drive change by building strong, trusting relationships across all levels of Global Procurement, Supply Chain Services and with key stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Required
    • 12+ years in Procurement / SC&O (Supply Chain & Operations), with 5+ years leading digital procurement transformation in a complex, global enterprise.
    • Deep platform experience (e.g., SAP Ariba / Coupa / Ivalua), CLM (e.g., Docusign / others), and data/BI (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Demonstrable experience taking AI enabled procurement solutions from concept → pilot → scale (e.g., agentic AI, RFx / RFp copilots, analytics, CLM, guided buying etc.
    • Ownership of business requirements, UAT and benefit realization for multiregion programs; strong product mindset and PMO fluency.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication and change leadership.
    • Proven and extensive experience managing and leading global teams
    • Be highly analytical
    • Be laser focused on data accuracy.
    • Be future driven, i.e. be prepared to question how things are done today, versus how they could be done in the future.
    • Be ambitious and curious.
    • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for supplier and stakeholder related meetings
  • Ideally, you will also have
    • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business English.
    • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization.
    • Experience working collaboratively, virtually and independently.

Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges.   • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,200 to $250,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,200 to $284,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
