Job Description
We’re looking for someone brilliant to join our People Team in a pivotal role overseeing and supporting recruitment activity across the UK and internationally. Whilst very much part of the wider People Team, you will have sole responsibility for recruitment across the business.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers across the business, helping them navigate recruitment with confidence & consistency, while continuously improving processes and candidate experience. Alongside running recruitment end to end, you’ll also have the chance to get stuck into wider People projects and be part of our business wide networks.
Location: We perform at our best when we feel trusted and are able to choose an approach to working that suits us best, which is why we are a remote-first company. However, we also believe in face to face collaboration, and our UK colleagues meet once a month for team time and quarterly for company get togethers in our Leeds office, so we ask that you be within a commutable distance that you are comfortable with in order to attend the office on those occasions.
Please note that although we are a remote-first company, the role will need to be carried out from the UK. As such, we are unable to accommodate remote arrangements from other countries.

Day to day we’ll trust you to:
We’ll trust you to take ownership of the end to end recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Overseeing the full recruitment process from role approval right through to onboarding, making sure things are fair, consistent and best practice throughout.
- Advising, guiding and constructively challenging hiring managers on recruitment processes and decision making.
- Providing comprehensive recruitment administration support, including:
o advertising roles
o booking and coordinating interviews
o gathering and sharing feedback
o issuing contracts
o coordinating onboarding activities - Owning and managing relationships with external recruitment partners and agencies, including support for global recruitment.
- Researching and supporting international recruitment, including upskilling hiring managers on location specific requirements, practices and nuances.
- Owning the annual summer internship programme and supporting other intern and early experience initiatives as required.
- Partnering with People Team Business Partners to support and drive our diversity, equity and inclusion ambitions.
- Acting as system champion for our ATS, including reporting, data tracking and liaising with system providers on improvements and efficiencies.
- Staying up to date with recruitment trends and industry innovations, making recommendations to enhance our approach.
Project work and wider involvement
Alongside core recruitment activity, you’ll also:
- Provide ad hoc support on wider People Team projects.
- Have opportunities to get involved in business wide networks such as Inclusion, Wellbeing, Planet and Prosperity.
You’ll need to have:
You’ll already have strong recruitment experience and be confident working at pace. You’ll need:
- Great people skills – you’re confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and comfortable challenging constructively.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and cope with busy recruitment periods.
- A proactive, self starting approach – you’re happy working autonomously and turning research into practical recommendations.
- Previous recruitment experience (this one’s essential), ideally with end to end ownership including managing an ATS.
- Experience of international recruitment (desirable)
- Experience of producing recruitment data/reports (desirable)
