Business Manager (Thailand)

Job Description

This role is responsible for implementing revenue focused activities in Thailand. The Business Manager needs to ensure we achieve business sustainability through renewals and at the same time continuously looking for growth primarily through increased sales revenue from current and new customers and/or products and services, while maintaining and building relationship with all key stakeholders which includes faculties.

Day to day we’ll trust you to:   

  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while driving new business growth through strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new sales and business development opportunities with potential clients.
  • Conduct frequent field visits and in-person meetings, ensuring consistent and effective communication with clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with high-level clients, strategic partners, universities, and research institutes.
  • Recruit and oversee channel partners as needed to support business expansion efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with top management on strategy development and execution to meet regional and organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the lead negotiator and deliver compelling presentations during negotiations.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant internal support teams.
  • Confidently engage with senior management contacts in both academia (universities, research institutes) and corporate sectors on a regular basis.

You’ll need to have:   

  • Sales experience within the Academic domain in Thailand
  • Upselling and Cross-selling leading to new revenue generations
  • Lead generation – Key Account Management
  • Fluent in English
