Approach to diversity & inclusion
15belowers really feel that they can be themselves at work because we all feel welcome, included and embraced for the differences we bring with us. We closely monitor important metrics like the gender pay gap (we don't have one) and diversity across the company, where we have set ourselves some important areas of focus for the coming years. We think that the team should be representative of wider society and are working hard to ensure that there are no barriers to achieving that goal.
We know that some people are hesitant to apply for roles unless they feel they tick every box in the person spec, but if your experience doesn't align fully, don't be put off. As long as the role excites you and you like the sound of 15below, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be just the person we are looking for but just haven't realised yet!
Flexible working at 15below
We understand the value of true work-life balance and know that having flexibility and autonomy when it comes to when, where and how we work is so important.
The 'When'
15below has core working hours of 10am to 4pm. The rest of the time can be used completely flexibly to work around our hobbies, life commitments such as medical appointments, school/nursery pick and drop-offs and whatever else life throws at us. If 15belowers need any further flexibility then we encourage them to just have a chat to their team lead.
The 'Where'
We offer truly flexible working options so 15belowers can decide whether they want to work from our offices in Brighton or Sydney, from home, or a bit of both. Combined with the flexible working hours, this means you could perhaps work in the office in the morning, then head for home at lunchtime to go for a run or collect the kids. We all make use of the flexibility so no-one feels like they need to be in the office to 'impress the boss'.
Our Work From Anywhere scheme allows 15belowers to work in another country for an
extended period of time. We believe that this allows us to experience life working and living in another country without needing to change jobs.
The 'How'
Our culture is based on trust. Everyone is treated as a valued individual whilst fostering collaboration and a strong sense of belonging. 15below is a really special group of incredible people, where trust, loyalty and respect are ingrained in everything we do.

Our fortnightly Friday wind down socials started out in our HQ office in Brighton. As we’ve grown across the UK (and the globe!) and with a remote-first approach, every quarter, we host a remote-first wind down.
Whether 15belowers are working from home or from the office, everyone can join in.
On Friday Nisha & Tempany from the people team hosted a remote-first St. Patrick’s Day Bingo to wrap up the week with some fun and friendly competition. Wishing everyone a happy St Patrick’s Day, for those who celebrate! 🍀

🚀🌟 Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025: Accelerate Action 🌟🚀
On Saturday it was International Women’s Day, and this year’s theme, ‘Accelerate Action’, focuses on the importance of achieving gender equality.
Our marketing team asked the inspiring women at 15below what Accelerate Action means to them in just one word. Suffice to say their responses were filled with determination and hope with words like “resilience”, “recognition” and “unstoppable”, driving us towards change. 🤍

🍷🧀 Friday Cheese & Wine Night🧀🍷
Last week, we had our annual Cheese & Wine Night social wind-down, and let’s just say, it was grate! From creamy brie to sharp cheddar to rich stilton, our
cheeseboards were stacked high and complimented with a variety of wine.😄
This tradition is a 15below favourite; the perfect way to wind down, share a laugh, and bond over the finer things in life – like perfectly paired wines and cheeses.🧀🍷

This week, we’re taking a moment to focus on the nation’s biggest mental health conversation- Time to Talk Day. Our social team hosted one of our quarterly remote-first wind downs which focused on listening, learning, and discussing the importance of mental wellbeing. It was a real chance for everyone to engage in open conversations and break down the stigma that sometimes surrounds mental health.
Leading up to the event, the social team challenged each of us to complete mini activities via a bingo card. From taking the time to relax t...

At 15below, we strive to make a difference to our communities. For the last two years, we’ve been supporting The Trussell Trust (a charity that works to end the need for food banks in the UK), engaging in several fundraising activities which have included a 24-hour Gameathon 🎮, raffles 🎟️ and our Christmas jumper 🎄 sweepstake. We’ve raised funds whilst bringing our team closer together as we work towards a common cause. 15belowers can also take a day each year to help our chosen charity through voluntary work or fundraising efforts...

Employee reviews
15below's employees have anonymously had their say in what they think of the company
Brilliant company to work for - flexible, trusting and they really value and work hard to keep their awesome company culture!
no micromanagement, only focused on the output
15below offers flexible working hours and employees are expected to be available between the core hours 10-4. There is not a problem to be flexible with that for certain scenarios if it works for 15below teams and people. When it comes to accomplishing our daily jobs we have quite a lot of autonomy and if we need guidance and help, the support from a more senior employee or a colleague is always there. Overall it is a great place to work as the working experience you gain at 15below is very valuable. Many people who have joined 15below enjoy working here for many years.
This is the best company I've worked for in my 34 working years. Flexibility around working hours and location is great, even though I am a creature of habit and tend to work standard hours, it's so useful if you need to be flexible for personal reasons. The wellbeing prgramme here is second to none and the company were extremely supportive during a time of personal crisis.
Working alongside a group of highly skilled technical resources that I admire.
15below are by far the most flexible company I've ever worked for. The company understands why it's important to have a work/life balance and a comfortable environment to work in, and everyone goes above and beyond to ensure employees are happy, motivated and fulfilled in their career.
The best thing is the people that make up 15below. The culture is one of trust, accountability, fun and working together. The support from managers and the people team is very person-specific, which is really valued. This comes across in conversations about performance, career progression and wellbeing. There is mostly no requirement to attend the office, unless you want to, and if you do it's a dog friendly office! There are lots of social events such as breakfast, friday food/drinks and Christmas/Summer parties which are always fun and bring everyone together. The senior management team value everyone's opinions and are keen to drive change as and when it's needed. I feel valued in terms of work, salary offering and benefits.
Working at 15below is the best - I am the happiest I've ever been in my career! Flexibility and trust are truly as high as they could be in a fantastic culture that is instilled from the very top.
Such a friendly and helpful bunch a people
The company, and senior leadership, are also always open to feedback. There are multiple ways to provide feedback, and we are actively encouraged to give our opinion.
Best company I have worked for. Many a company could use the culture and standards set by this company as a template for a great, friendly, inclusive, supportive company
15below has been really supportive of my flexible working requests so I can support my family in the way I need to.
After working for many companies in my 34 (crikey!) year career, 15below is easily the most progressive, flexible and enjoyable place to work of them all - led from the Senior Management Team.
It honestly feels a bit like a family. Everyone is super supportive of each other and also super enthusiastic about their roles!
This is an extremely supportive company with great benefits. The ethos is togetherness, teamwork, collaboration and flexibility. It's the best company I've ever worked for.
