Job Description

Account Manager

London, UK | Full-time | Hybrid

About dunnhumby

dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, helping the world's most ambitious retailers and brands put the customer at the heart of every decision. With nearly 3,000 experts across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, we partner with iconic businesses like Tesco, Coca-Cola, Meijer, Procter & Gamble and Metro to turn data into growth, innovation and measurable value for their customers.

About Tesco Media

Tesco Media is the ultimate media partner to brands. Built on unrivalled customer insight, it’s a media owner with soul, scale, and storytelling power. Tesco Media helps brands and agencies connect meaningfully with customers, drive creative effectiveness, and grow at the point of purchase.

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Account Manager who is passionate about working in Retail Media with the UK’s largest retailer. You’ll lead the planning, delivery and reporting of media and measurement campaigns, supporting key client relationships with consultative product and solution recommendations. Working closely with Sales Client Partners, you’ll combine strong client servicing with analytical and consultative sales skills to build relationships, deliver meaningful business outcomes and support long-term revenue growth.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll bring together media expertise, customer insight and commercial thinking to help FMCG partners get the most from Tesco Media & Insights.

  • Support quarterly and yearly revenue goals and growth strategies for key FMCG partners, guiding media and channel planning across direct clients and their agency partners.
  • Use data and insights to deliver innovative retail media activations across the Tesco Media & Insights platform and deepen engagement with stakeholders across Shopper, Brand, Digital, Media, Commerce and Loyalty teams.
  • Partner with Sales Client Partners, Media Enablement and Data Analysts to deliver against KPIs and navigate complex, cross-channel projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recommend and oversee client measurement strategies, analysing and presenting results and identifying performance trends that inform optimisation and upsell opportunities.
  • Build expertise across the Tesco Media & Insights advertising ecosystem, encouraging channel adoption and confidently challenging client strategy to maximise meaningful business outcomes.

What We're Looking For

You’ll bring a strong grounding in advertising alongside an enthusiasm for retail media, client partnership and using insight to solve commercial challenges.

  • 2+ years’ experience in the advertising industry, gained in media sales, retail media and/or a media agency environment.
  • A passion for Retail Media and Tesco Media & Insights products and services, with extensive knowledge of brand, performance and digital marketing ecosystems and performance metrics.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience working with complex datasets and turning insights into clear, relevant recommendations.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, with a consultative approach that enables you to understand client needs and position solutions in a timely and personalised way.
  • A results-driven, adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and succeed in a fast-moving environment.

What You Can Expect From Us

We won't just meet your expectations. We'll defy them. So you'll enjoy the comprehensive rewards package you'd expect from a leading technology company. But also, a degree of personal flexibility you might not expect. Plus, thoughtful perks, like flexible working hours and your birthday off. And we don't just talk about diversity and inclusion. We live it every day – with thriving networks including dh Gender Equality Network, dh Proud, dh Family, dh One, dh Enabled and dh Thrive as the living proof. We want everyone to have the opportunity to shine and perform at your best throughout our recruitment process — please let your recruiter know what adjustments would help.
