Job Description

Senior Marketing Manager, UKI Campaigns (8 Month FTC)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Brand & Experience team builds the emotional connection between Deliveroo and our customers, riders, and partners. With a deep understanding of our audience and a passion for creativity, we bring our brand to life across every touchpoint. Whether it’s a push notification, social campaign, or packaging design—we craft compelling experiences that shape perceptions, spark engagement, and make Deliveroo a loved, global brand.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Global Proposition and Campaigns team on an 8-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be the lead architect of the marketing communications plan for the UK and Ireland (UKI)—our largest and most mature market—ensuring every initiative is integrated, prioritised, and impactful.

Get to know our Brand & Experience team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of a centre of excellence for end-to-end (E2E) campaign development. You will act as a strategic consultant and decisive voice in planning forums, balancing high-level strategy with the "operational grit" required for flawless execution.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Comms Plan Orchestration: Lead the E2E orchestration of the UKI communications plan, ensuring all activities align with quarterly strategic goals and business priorities.

  • Strategic Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as an influential consultant to internal teams, navigating complex trade-offs regarding budget, resource allocation, and execution priorities.

  • Campaign Activation: Lead major UKI marketing campaigns through their entire lifecycle—from the initial strategic brief to launch and comprehensive post-campaign analysis.

  • Narrative Storytelling: Translate complex quarterly plans into compelling narratives for senior leadership, ensuring buy-in and alignment at the highest levels.

  • Budget Oversight: Take accountability for the meticulous tracking of the UKI production budget, ensuring maximum efficiency and strict financial compliance.

  • Hands-on Execution: Manage complex workflows and traffic assets across integrated channels, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of locally-led initiatives.

  • Measurement & Insights: Develop rigorous measurement frameworks to track campaign performance against KPIs, synthesising data into actionable strategic insights for the future.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate is a skilled diplomat and a seasoned marketer who can operate effectively at both a high-level strategic level and a detailed execution level.

  • Extensive Marketing Background: 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within a high-growth B2C or multi-category brand environment.

  • UKI Market Expertise: A proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale, through-the-line (TTL) integrated campaigns specifically in the UKI market.

  • Influencing & Diplomacy: Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder alignment, navigate difficult trade-offs, and drive consensus in a matrixed organisation.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in marketing finance and budget management, particularly regarding the monitoring of large-scale production costs.

  • Project Management Mastery: Highly proficient in managing complex workflows, allocating resources, and maintaining detailed documentation across multiple teams.

  • Storytelling Ability: Exceptional skills in synthesising complex performance data and plans into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences.
