/10
Job Description
About the team
You'll be joining our growing central Global Proposition and Campaigns Team on an 8 month fixed term contract to provide support during a time of increased output for the team. While the team's overall scope covers multi-market global campaigns, this role will focus specifically on driving compelling marketing programmes for the UK and Ireland (UKI), our biggest market. This role will be both activating national marketing campaigns but it will also take on a role in the overall planning and execution of the UKI comms plan, working with stakeholders across the UKI org to ensure the quarterly plan is aligned to the strategy and that resource is prioritised against the key initiatives. You'll report to the Head of Global Propositions and UKI Campaigns and be part of a centre of excellence for E2E campaign development and comms planning.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and influential Senior Marketing Manager to help lead UKI marketing programmes and overall comms planning. This role is the critical architect of the UKI market’s communication plan, responsible for ensuring all activities are integrated, prioritised, and deliver maximum demonstrable impact against strategic goals. You will act as the decisive voice in all planning forums, providing strategic consultation to internal teams and expertly aligning stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a skilled diplomat, comfortable navigating challenges and trade-offs, who is not afraid to get their hands dirty by actively driving execution and providing budget oversight. You also need to have a strong grounding in E2E campaign execution and be comfortable leading these high profile projects.
What you'll be doing
Play a key role in the orchestration of the end-to-end UKI communications plan.
Act as a diplomatic and influential consultant to internal stakeholders, proactively guiding teams through trade-offs and ensuring alignment on challenging decisions related to budget, resource, and execution priorities.
Translate the quarterly comms plan into compelling narratives for presentation and alignment with senior leadership.
Lead the activation of major UKI marketing campaigns, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initial strategic brief through to launch and comprehensive post-campaign analysis.
Be accountable for the monitoring and meticulous tracking of the production budget for UKI campaigns, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance.
Drive the hands-on execution of locally-led marketing initiatives, managing complex workflows, trafficking assets, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across all integrated channels.
Develop clear and rigorous measurement frameworks for marketing activity, holding the team accountable for campaign performance against defined KPIs.
Conduct deep post-campaign analysis, synthesising performance data and key learnings into actionable strategic insights for the business and future campaign development.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive, demonstrable marketing experience, ideally within a high-growth, B2C or multi-category brand.
Proven track record of success in strategic planning and execution of large-scale, integrated (through-the-line) marketing campaigns in the UKI.
Strong diplomatic and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder alignment, navigate trade-offs, and drive consensus in challenging situations.
Expertise in marketing finance and budget management, specifically relating to monitoring and tracking large-scale production costs.
Exceptional storytelling ability: capable of synthesising complex plans and performance data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior audiences.
Highly proficient in project management, with the ability to manage complex workflow, allocate resources, and maintain detailed documentation across teams.
A 'not scared to get your hands dirty' attitude; a someone who can operate effectively at both the strategic planning level and the day-to-day execution level.
