About the role

The Head of Paid Social & Affiliates will lead Deliveroo’s strategy and execution across Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) and Affiliate Marketing, globally. This role brings together two complementary performance channels to drive growth through creative excellence, partnership development, and data-driven optimisation.

This leader will develop global frameworks that balance creative experimentation with performance efficiency, while building strong relationships with platform partners and affiliate networks. They will work closely with Brand, CRM, Data Science, and the Marketing Tech teams to ensure integrated and effective customer journeys.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the global Paid Social and Affiliate marketing strategy, defining the roadmap for growth, efficiency, and creative excellence.

  • Lead a high-performing team of channel specialists, fostering a culture of analytical rigour, experimentation, and creativity.

  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to develop highly scaled, rapid social-first creative frameworks that balance strong brand storytelling with conversion driving performance.

  • Develop the affiliate growth program, managing platform relationships, publisher strategy, and cross-channel coordination.

  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to improve incrementality measurement, channel attribution, and automation.

  • Champion global test-and-learn initiatives to identify best-performing formats, audiences, and messages.

  • Represent channels in growth and performance leadership forums, contributing to investment strategy, business reviews, and cross-channel planning.

Requirements

  • You know your channels inside out. 8+ years’ experience in performance marketing, with deep expertise in Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and/or Affiliate Marketing.

  • Proven experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and driving measurable business impact.

  • Exceptional understanding of creative performance, audience strategy, and attribution methodologies.

  • Experience leading global teams and managing global partners or agencies.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect performance metrics to business outcomes.

  • Collaborative, curious, and passionate about driving innovation in growth marketing.
