Job Description

Role Outline

• Location: UK based remote role with ability to travel across the United Kingdom and internationally. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Permanent Contract
• Hours: Full time position (part time of 4 days a week may be considered). Cool Farm supports flexible working arrangements.
• Pay: £75,000- £85,000 per annum (FTE, pro-rata for part time)
• Application Deadline: 9am (UK), Friday 25th April 2025.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision to drive credibility and quality modelling underpinning the Cool Farm digital products. Working closely with the CEO, Head of Product and Technology and Head of Community Development this role will ensure the scientific credibility that underpins the future success of the Cool Farm Alliance and Cool Farm Platform.

This role includes leading the Science and Methods team and managing subcontractors, to oversee the creation and execution of our quantification model development and delivery, and ensure scientific credibility, and consistent with the latest industry and reporting standards. This role demands a strategic leader who can manage key internal and external stakeholders, drive innovation, and ensure operational excellence across the organisation in a not-for-profit purpose driven environment.
