As a software Engineer in Trading Solutions, you’ll build high‑performance .NET services that power trading, post‑trade, and data flows for a business with deep roots in energy markets and a fast‑growing renewables footprint. You’ll work close to the action with traders, analysts, and operations - turning complex market needs into elegant, resilient software. About the Role

You will be a key engineer in a cross‑functional team delivering mission‑critical software for energy trading and market operations. The work spans order‑to‑cash journeys, real‑time integrations, and data‑rich services that enable confident decisions and reliable settlement outcomes. The role is based in Aalborg where you will:

• Design and implement high‑throughput services and APIs in modern .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) for trading and post‑trade workflows.

• Integrate with external venues, TSOs/DSOs, brokers, and market data providers; engineer for reliability and observability.

• Drive engineering excellence (CI/CD, automated testing, performance tuning, secure coding) and mentor teammates.

About You

You’re a senior software engineer who thrives on shipping robust software in fast‑moving, data‑intensive environments. You’re comfortable partnering with traders, quants, and operations to clarify requirements and iterate quickly without compromising quality. You bring a product mindset: pragmatic, customer‑focused, and strong on ownership.

• Extensive .NET expertise (C#, .NET 8/9/10), including distributed systems, streaming solutions, and REST/gRPC patterns.

• Deep domain experience with trading platforms and post‑trade processes, including settlements and reconciliation.

• Experience in energy trading (power/gas) and preferably renewables (route‑to‑market, certificates/origination, balancing).

• Proficiency with cloud (ideally AWS), CI/CD, containers, monitoring/telemetry, and secure engineering practices.
