We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Senior Portfolio Manager to drive the growth of our renewable asset and battery business across the EU. This role is central to securing profitable long-term offtake agreements, optimizing asset portfolios, and developing innovative trading solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of EU power markets, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to shape the future of energy trading.

About the Role

This role ensures profitable trading agreements with third-party assets across the EU by leading pricing strategies, managing asset portfolios, and establishing efficient trade processes. It plays a key role in expanding the asset business in close collaboration with Origination and Trading teams. The focus is on long-term offtake agreements for renewable assets such as wind, solar, and battery storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize agreements for renewable and flexible assets

• Price trading contracts in collaboration with Origination

• Manage portfolio risks across asset classes and markets

• Develop and implement new contract structures and products

• Identify and enter new markets for asset-backed trading

• Support integration of asset contracts into trading operations and systems

About You

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong relationship-building and communication skills across the asset value chain, is highly motivated to grow the asset business, and has a solid understanding of the EU power markets and renewable energy dynamics.

Key Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of end-to-end asset business trade processes

• Strong data handling and interpretation capabilities

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, physics, engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power trading, asset management, or a similar domain

• Experience in pricing renewable portfolios

• Programming experience in VBA, Python, R, or similar languages is preferred
