About your role:

The L7 Unica Campaign Developer will work closely with planners and strategists to create sophisticated multi-channel campaigns, primarily using Unica and Salesforce. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL skills and will play a key role throughout the entire campaign development lifecycle, from collaborating on campaign briefs to building, testing, and deploying campaigns. This includes leveraging data insights from past campaigns, ensuring high-quality execution, and delivering data across channels for successful deployment.

Key responsibilities include supporting stakeholders in finalising campaign briefs, optimising marketing universes, and managing audience targeting, selection, and optimisation rules. The role also involves driving improvements in campaign performance by applying best practices in targeting, sourcing new data opportunities, and utilizing customer insights, segmentation, and models. Additionally, the developer will ensure compliance with GDPR and other legal requirements, optimise campaign performance, and build reusable assets for the campaign developer community. The candidate will also assess the effort needed for new activities, ensuring alignment with customer engagement strategies and maintaining quality assurance.

The position demands a proactive approach to improving customer engagement and efficiency while ensuring that all campaigns, offers, and treatments meet regulatory controls. The developer will lead data-driven targeting strategies to create consistent and relevant customer experiences across key touchpoints.

Here's what we’re looking for:

  • Proven hands-on experience with campaign management and decisioning tools such as Unica, Adobe Campaign
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in data, including customer segmentation and audience targeting.
  • Proficient in SQL for manipulating data from large data warehouses.
  • Ability to understand technical processes and effectively brief requirements to technical development teams.
  • Experience in marketing execution, channel optimization, and real-time decisioning.
  • Track record of using customer segmentation, value, and propensity models to enhance targeted marketing activities.
  • Sound understanding of data strategy, integrity, and quality, as well as maximizing third-party data partnerships.
