This role will lead our current Deal Desk function, which currently includes our Deal Desk Analysts and our RFx Manager. We are expanding Deal Desk generally to include a new strategic deal pricing desk and to drive a holistic Quote to Cash process optimization in partnership with GTM Strategy & Operations and Finance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Quote to Cash (Q2C) strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives, in partnership with Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales and Customer Success leadership.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional Quote to Cash team, including Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal, to streamline Q2C processes and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the quoting, pricing, and contract management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and services into the Q2C process.
  • Monitor and analyze Q2C metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall performance.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure processes and system integrations are built to drive accurate and timely billing, revenue recognition, and reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Field Productivity to enable our sales and customer success teams on new and existing processes related to Quote to Cash.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Q2C processes, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support for high-value and complex deals, ensuring pricing and contract terms maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Q2C systems and tools, ensuring they meet business needs and support scalability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the Q2C team.

What you bring:

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Quote to Cash, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles, with significant experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of Q2C processes, including quoting, pricing, contract management, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Salesforce, CPQ, billing systems, and ERP systems.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements related to revenue recognition.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

  • United States: $209,100.00 to $313,600.00
  • Germany: €139,000.00 to €208,500.00
  • United Kingdom: £135,500.00 to £203,200.00
  • Singapore: S$259,700.00 to S$389,500.00
