In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and delivering innovative media and broadcast solutions for leading customers. You’ll use your deep technical and commercial expertise to uncover real business challenges, then design and position high-value solutions across IP, satellite, cloud, and media workflow technologies. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you’ll lead the development of winning propositions, influence senior stakeholders, and guide opportunities from early engagement through to successful delivery. You’ll also play a key role in expanding business opportunities, translating complex technical capabilities into clear value, and building trusted relationships at the highest levels.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate media & broadcast customer needs into winning solutions aligned to our portfolio and capabilities.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior technical stakeholders, guided by a clear customer engagement strategy.

  • Lead solution design and contract shaping to ensure outcomes are delivered as promised.

  • Drive deal closure, securing contracts and enabling smooth handover into service delivery.

  • Focus time and expertise on high-value, complex opportunities that matter most.

  • Keep customer inputs on track to protect delivery timelines and commercial outcomes.

  • Proactively progress and accelerate large, complex sales opportunities.

  • Stay ahead of the market with up-to-date technical, product, and industry insight.

  • Champion the full Media & Broadcast and wider BT portfolio in every customer conversation.

  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive technical engagement and value-led interactions.

  • Deliver clear, compelling technical annexes for RFIs, RFPs, and bespoke bids.

  • Influence and manage senior stakeholders at COO, CIO, and CTO level to shape outcomes.

The skills you’ll need

  • Extensive consultative sales experience within the broadcast and media industry.
  • Expert knowledge of broadcast IP, MPLS transport, satellite, compression, multiplexing, origination platforms, digital workflows, and asset management systems.
  • Good understanding of public cloud services and content delivery networks.
  • Proven ability to identify customer business challenges and develop value-driven media solutions.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of media and broadcast products, services, and solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in solution design, development, and delivery.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver winning customer outcomes.
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain senior-level technical and business relationships.
  • Skilled in handling objections, articulating solution value, and expanding sales opportunities.
