As one of our Technical Security Architects, you’ll translate customer requirements into deliverable designs, whilst remaining sensitive to cost, strategy and risk drivers. What you’ll do:

  • Provide Technical oversight and Leadership of a Customer Contract ensuring that BT delivers as per customer requirements whilst maintaining Security standards
  • Provide security design authority for complex solutions and/or platform designs during customer workshops, capturing requirements, translating into Designs, identifying relevant documentation sets required to underpin the solution.
  • Create Security Architectures, High and Low Level Designs, Processes, Procedures, Local Work Instructions whilst meeting relevant industry security standards & controls
  • Provide security design assurance for complex solutions and/or platform designs
  • Create a technical roadmap for customer, area or domain.
  • Obtain signoff of deliverables from the Customers Technical specialists
  • Ensure Designs are Deployed and Implemented diligently with fully Auditable controls
  • Be Lead Designer during any Assurance and Compliance activities
  • Be conversant with the latest security standards and controls
  • Guide and coach Delivery and Operational Teams during the delivery of the Solution
  • Bring to resolution cross tower technical issues

You’ll definitely:

  • Have experience of Architecting/Delivering large scale complex and technical projects
  • Have experience of Architecting solutions across cloud platform infrastructures
  • Possess strong technical skills across a broad range of technologies
  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of:-
    • Firewall technologies, specifically Cisco ASA/FTD
    • Network Access Control solutions, specifically Cisco
    • F5 technologies and wider WAF solutions
    • Zscaler solutions, specifically ZIA, ZPA, and associated features.
  • Create coherent designs from the capture and agreement of customer requirements
  • Maintain awareness of emerging security trends, threats, risks and technology
  • Use your initiative and be comfortable working with changing requirements
  • Be comfortable working to challenging and stringent deadlines
  • Be self-motivated and proactive
  • Have an enquiring mind, thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn
  • Be CISSP certified (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

  • Have experience identifying, developing, and delivering growth opportunities.
  • Have experience driving efficiency through use of designs, orchestration & automation
  • Have CISSP certification (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Have CCSP certification (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
