This role can be based at either Bristol, Birmingham or Milton Keynes following a hybrid working pattern of three days a week in the office and two days a week working from home.

Why this job matters

As a Supplier Relationship Procurement Manager, you will own and grow long-term supplier partnerships across EE Consumer's direct-to-customer portfolio—covering a mix of products and services such as handsets, laptops, TVs, consoles, trade-in, insurance, and related services. You'll manage the end-to-end commercial relationship beyond contract signature, ensuring trading terms, promotional activity, and supplier performance deliver the right outcomes for customers and the business.

Working closely with internal stakeholders—including Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain—you'll bring strong commercial judgement, a data-driven mindset, and excellent relationship management to align plans, resolve issues, and continuously improve how we work with our key vendors.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving and delivering the procurement plan and activities in BT’s Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. Developing and implementing procurement frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Creating and delivering category plans and sourcing activities, through planning and execution of sourcing, bid support, supplier and risk management activities
  • Building and maintaining category expertise, apply best practices around sourcing approach, supplier selection, total cost of ownership and negotiation tactics
  • Identify business improvements leveraging the commercial, design and process to minimise the Total Cost of Ownership
  • Drive and deliver end-to-end sourcing projects including complex contractual and pricing models
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements utilising the latest contracting tools

You'll have the following skills and experience

  • We’re looking for someone who’s results orientated, ambitious and passionate.
  • Experience within a fast-paced Procurement function (preferably within technology).
  • Strong business expertise in category management, particularly around supplier capabilities, commercial models, and partner programmes required to deliver portfolio and customer requirements
  • Ability to manage complex, strategic and commercial requirements between BT and its vendors, deliver projects and results on time and in full
  • Experience in business partnering and supplier relationship management
  • Demonstrates strong continuous improvement skills that exceed customer expectations
