As the Strategic Cost Transformation Manager within our Control Tower team, you will be the driving force behind reducing third-party and supplier costs, fostering a cost-conscious mindset throughout the organisation. Your role is critical in overseeing and enhancing cost-saving measures, managing stakeholder relationships across Product, Procurement, Service, and Sales segments, and ensuring these initiatives align with our strategic goals. A strong commercial mindset is essential for this role, as you will need to understand and leverage market dynamics and ensure that the initiatives deliver tangible business value. Your ability to blend financial acumen with strategic thinking will be key to driving sustainable cost efficiencies and achieving the organisation's financial objectives.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the development and execution of cost transformation strategies.
  • Facilitate idea generation sessions and develop pipeline of cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress and maturity of these initiatives, ensuring they meet targets and milestones.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Product, Procurement, Service, and Sales.
  • Act as a key contact for sponsors, leads and initiative owners, and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align efforts and achieve cost-saving goals.
  • Share best practices and innovative solutions across the Business to drive cost savings.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of cost-saving measures.
  • Develop training and communication plans to support organisational change.

What we'd like to see on your CV

  • Experience working with procurement / product / service / sales led teams.
  • Background in project management or change management roles.
  • Proven experience in cost transformation, cost management, or a similar role.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
