About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Specialist to drive the adoption of AI-assisted Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices across engineering teams.

This role will play a pivotal part in transforming how applications are designed, developed, tested, deployed, and operated using AI-led approaches. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, leveraging modern tools and frameworks to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are met effectively.

What you’ll be doing

• AI-Driven Engineering Delivery:
o Leverage AI tools and frameworks to accelerate design, development, testing, and deployment
o Build working prototypes (POCs) rapidly to validate business requirements
o Generate and refine low-level designs, technical artifacts, and documentation using AI


• Architecture & Design:
o Design scalable API-first and microservices-based architectures
o Ensure adherence to OpenAPI standards, telecom standards, and enterprise design guidelines
o Align new solutions with existing integration and platform strategies


• Development & Quality Engineering:
o Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable applications using AI-assisted coding practices
o Implement automated test strategies including functional, integration, API, and non-functional testing
o Ensure compliance with security, performance, and user experience standards


• DevOps & SRE Enablement:
o Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and automation
o Enable SRE practices, including observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident management
o Drive improvements for resilience, recoverability, and system performance


• Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Partner with business, product, operations, and CX teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
o Provide continuous feedback and improvement recommendations based on real-time insights

Essential Skills / Experience

• Technical Skills:
o Strong expertise in frontend frameworks: React, Angular or similar
o Strong experience in backend/API development: Node.js, Spring Boot, Python
o Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
o Proficiency in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices


• AI & Modern Engineering
o Practical experience with AI-assisted development approaches
o Spec-driven development
o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
o Model Context Protocols (MCP), hooks, and automation tools
o Familiarity with AI tools for code generation, testing, and design acceleration


• Standards & Practices:
o Strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications and API-first design
o Knowledge of telecom domain standards (preferred)
o Experience with Agile delivery methodologies

o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
o Ability to work independently while collaborating in cross-functional teams
o Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
