About the role

This role is for a senior Software Engineering Specialist who will play a critical part in designing, developing, and scaling high-quality mobile applications using React Native. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong understanding of mobile architecture, and the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. You will act as a technical owner, driving engineering excellence while collaborating closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver reliable, performant mobile solutions for iOS and Android.

What you’ll be doing

• Development of mobile applications using React Native
• Define and own mobile application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to the mobile engineering team
• Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high engineering standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Oversee mobile specific development considerations, including performance, security, and App Store / Google Play readiness
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, testing, and deployments
• Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and architectural issues early
• Mentor team members, support skill development, and foster a high-performing team culture
• Stay current with evolving mobile technologies and industry trends

Essential Skills / Experience

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience
• Expert-level experience in React Native
• Strong knowledge of iOS development(Swift + Objective C) concepts and platform-specific guidelines
• Proven expertise in mobile application architecture and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring mobile engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Git and modern collaborative development workflows

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience working with Amazon Q
• Working knowledge of Android development (Java/Kotlin)
