About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP I2C (Invoice-to-Cash) Functional Consultant to join the SAP Finance team. The role involves creating, implementing, and optimising end-to-end I2C processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring efficient Accounts Receivable operations, seamless integration with upstream/downstream modules, and improved cash collection performance.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and global partners to deliver scalable and high-quality SAP Finance solutions.

What you’ll be doing

The role holder will be part of the SAP FI (I2C) engineering team within BT Digital, and is capable for creating and building solutions

Key responsibilities are:
 Provide business process and functional help for the SAP FI module including its sub-ledgers ( FI AR, Billing (SD Integration), Credit Management, Cash Application, Collections Management, Dispute Management, Bank Accounting (EBS), Payments & Clearing, Reporting & Analytics ).
 Facilitate requirements gathering workshops/discussions and assess, challenge, and document the business requirements.
 Provide alternatives and recommend a solution.
 Develop functional specifications for customizations and enhancements which include reports, data processing, load programs, and adjustment tools.
 Develop verification strategies, verifying plans and verifying scripts.
 Perform functional verifying (execution) after development completion.
 Work with different teams and IT partners in different parts of the world to provide services to clients.
 Identify and apply continuous improvement processes for operational efficiencies, drive process integration, and standardization in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
 Good knowledge of integration aspects between FICO and MM module
 Hands on experience in implementation and help of SD
 Exposure to Pricing, Taxes, transportation and logistics execution and Sales information system
 Lead and help SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and migration projects.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Functional Expertise
o Strong knowledge of:
 SAP FI-AR (Accounts Receivable)
 Invoice-to-Cash / Lead-to-Cash processes
 Billing Invoice Integration (SD-FI Integration)
 Cash Applications
 Collection Management
 Bank Accounting & EBS ( Electronic Bank Statements)
 Payment & Clearing
o Understanding of: Pricing, taxes, billing, and logistics integration
o Experience with S/4HANA Finance implementations or migrations

• Technical & Integration Skills
Experience in:
o SAP Integration Suite / CPI
o APIs and Web Services
o Understanding of cross-module integrations (FI-SD, FI-MM)


• Professional Experience
o Typically, 5–9 years of SAP Finance experience
o Demonstrate experience in:
o End-to-end I2C implementations
o Requirement gathering & stakeholder management
o Exposure to Agile delivery environments
