Why this job matters

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the complete Automation platform and the management of the Application Support team – Both Hardware and Software. The SRE Manager – Automation (RPA Blue Prism) is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism within the organization. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Blue Prism, a strong understanding of automation best practices, and proven experience in managing RPA platforms at scale. The Platform Manager will collaborate with business units, IT, and process owners to ensure that automation initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, are robust, secure, and deliver measurable value. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platform’s stability, scalability, and alignment with business automation goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the detailed tasks required to operate high quality Automation solutions in accordance with the agreed delivery methodology

• Oversee the deployment, and maintenance of RPA solutions using Blue Prism.

• Manage the Blue Prism platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

• Lead a team of support staff to deliver high-quality maintenance to the platform.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify platform opportunities for improvement and develop roadmaps for RPA adoption.

• Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks for Blue Prism implementations.

• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT for infrastructure support and upgrades.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and RPA team members on Blue Prism functionalities and updates.

• Track and report on RPA performance metrics, ROI, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Stay current with Blue Prism product updates, industry trends, and emerging automation technologies.

• Responsible for planning the delivery of incremental VM’s to the estate.

Skills

• Experience and knowledge of the Agile methodologies

• Proven experience managing enterprise Blue Prism environments (v6 or higher).

• Experience in working on DevOps and Monitoring tools e.g JIRA, Dynatrrace, Qualys

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Competent team player in a diverse cultural environment and multi-international team.

• Experience in Liasing with external vendor partner

• Experience of Microsoft Power Platform will be a plus.

• Any Blue Prism Certifications a bonus.
