Job Description

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Process Automation is a team within the Technology & Data department in TUI Global Business Services. The CoE specialises in automating manual processes is the central unit for all Robotic Process Automation (RPA) activities within the TUI Group.

As RPA Developer Team Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of RPA Junior Developer and RPA Developer, ensuring the successful delivery of automation solutions aligned with business goals. You will oversee the full lifecycle of RPA development—from design to deployment—while promoting best practices and technical excellence. In collaboration with stakeholders and IT, you will ensure compliance, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement through intelligent automation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead and develop a team of RPA developers, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Define team objectives, allocate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of RPA bot development, from design to deployment.
  • Ensure automation solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather and validate automation requirements.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Manage multiple RPA projects, monitor progress, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners and communicate project updates to senior leadership team.
  • Identify and assess new automation opportunities across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, governance, and data privacy regulations.
  • Maintain and optimize bot performance, proactively addressing issues.
  • Drive innovation by integrating AI and intelligent automation technologies.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or managing development teams.
  • Strong expertise in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript, VB.NET, SQL).
  • Experience with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
  • RPA certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced Developer, Blue Prism Developer) are a plus.
