As our Senior Product Manager, you’ll have full accountability of our flagship Broadband portfolio. 1.5 million connections and £450 million in revenue, you'll oversee and drive impactful solutions supporting industries from retail to healthcare, fuelling business growth across sectors. The level of impact this portfolio has to our business customers is huge, it runs across the UK economy from shops, distribution networks, hospitals, multinational companies, government and air traffic control, to name a mere few.

Along with your fab team of 20 product leads, you’ll develop, manage and deliver Connectivity products that create value for business markets and drive unit performance.

You’ll work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders including our BT Business CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Core Connectivity Director, Developers and leaders across Open Reach, Digital, Network, Commercial, Sales, Finance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Set out the portfolio vision, strategy and investment roadmap
  • Interlock growth ambitions and product lifecycle goals with channels, partners and key functions
  • Manage the full portfolio lifecycle from product development, to in life and withdrawal
  • Establish and maintain performance standards for all key aspects of the portfolio - ensure end to end definition and understanding of the product operating model, systems and process and ensure the model achieves NPS, digital self service, commercial and unit economics goals.
  • Develop and motivate team
  • Support transition of customers to higher value strategic variants through product capabilities – drives copper to fibre migration and strategic access

Experience you would be expected to have

  • Product strategy and lifecycle experience
  • Understanding of innovation and technology trends which impact the product and how it is utilised to deliver a solution for Business markets and customers
  • Ability to think commercially and consider trade-offs and risks to recommend best course of investment linked to business outcomes across a multi-functional area
  • An expert in their field with experience of and credibility in engaging with Industry in a wider sense – e.g. industry forums, Ofcom
