Why this job matters

The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for protecting the value of managed contract through managing risks, effectively delivering contractual obligations and excellent stakeholder management for several large managed contracts for the MOJ. MOJ is the UK Central Government’s largest department and one of BT’s largest customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owns the end-to-end delivery of the MOJ contract.
  • Manages senior stakeholder relationships and is as an interface for the managed contract customer on all contractual/commercial topics.
  • Delivers incremental business through change control.
  • Leads the contract management team responsible for the MOJ contract.

What we want to see from you

• Proven knowledge of contract management practices.
• Proven knowledge of governance and compliance methods.
• Proven knowledge of service transition, change, configuration management and service level management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across organisational boundaries.
• People management capability, whether through direct people management experience, or the desire to lead a team and experience of coaching others.
• Willing and able to undergo Security Check (SC) level Security Clearance - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels
